Title: Driving games to jamma adapter board project
Post by: neocps1 on September 18, 2014, 07:36:59 PM
Here is a small project done to convert some games I don't have the cabinets to play them
on a regular jamma cabinet with the joystick.

Note the adapter board handles two axis, two pedals, and one inverted pedal (some games need it),
so it could also replace hall effect joysticks, I have to test :

And an example with cruis'n'usa :

Nice work, it's about time somebody came up with a good way to do this :)

Very nice :)

I only knew APAC so far....are they comparable? I still have the first version where you have to use capacitors depending on the pot size.

apac is used to connect pedals and steering to a computer to play mame driving games for example.

my board connects to the joystick and buttons of an arcade cabinet and simulate the steering wheel and pedals.

so they are not really comparable

Ah, so you can 'simulate' steering wheel and pedals with joysticks?
