Damn, I've just spot this... advertised in a wrong section (Accueil > Informatique & Jeux Vidéo > Console de jeu > Atari 2600 )
 a Star Wars cockpit for sale, the text is written in a bad French, and as far as I understand, it said the game has never been operated for the public, and it was located in atari (office?).
The ad doesn't say if it works or not, but damn it, look at the pictures, the condition is just amazing! The game is located in Brussels (Auderghem) I guess. BIN @ 3000€ right here (http://www.2ememain.be/informatique-jeux-vid%C3%A9o/console-de-jeu/atari-2600/rare-atari-1983-star-wars-202856109.html).
A rare opportunity... it worths the investigation! Good luck guys and be as fast as lightning ! :)

I'm already very happy with the one I have, even if not running the original hardware. 8)

Hope to see inside pics...

I'm also interested, only if Ully's deal doesn't go through.
Please let me know if you agree on a price, Ully, if not, then I'll contact him myself.
Thanks!

I think that this ad is a fake, the same ad was on leboncoin a few days ago (same ad, address in France), I contacted the admin of leboncoin with the link of the ad in Belgium about it and they deleted the ad. Few months ago I saw the same kind of ad for a nice computer space in France and it was also a fake: seller outside France, payment only with western union....
-
Well, that would explain why the French text is so bad written! Amazing to see hoax in our hobby! :ghost:
-
i doubt anybody of us would be so stupid to make a western union deal. but imagine he is selling it to 10 people...
-
Western Union ? RUN RUN !!!!
It has happened before on Marktplaats but those were more like "ghost" ads....they never responded to any messages at all....
I also heard about some Belgian pinball friends who drove all the way up to Friesland (the most northern part of The Netherlands) only to ring the door at an address and arriving at people who absolutely knew nothing about the add, not even about owning pinball machines for sale...what the fun in that is beats me, but it is sick...
In any doubt: personal pick-up, cash payment, and if you doubt before driving off: have them make a picture with a print-out of an e-mail you sent the seller AND the machine at the same time...
-
That was too good to be true indeed :-\
thanks for notifying us about the fake!

Amazing to see hoax in our hobby!
Really?
It happens quite a lot in pinball. Always a holy grail machine (like medieval madness for example), always the same story, some guy moved for his work abroad (mostly Manchester area) and would like you to transfer money through Western Union. They're always using fake pictures ofcourse. They even go as far as building fake websites of shipping companies.
Take alook at the ridiculously long list of scammers on mr.pinball:

thx for the heads up, guys, MONEY SAVED ;D
-
What's the point in doing this if they don't even answer when we say we're interested?
I kinda wish they answer, now, so we could play along with them
