Allied's DAYTONA 500, an electro-mechanical made in 1976!
I always wanted an electro-mechanical game in my collection, and although I have no specific memories of this game, that one looks really cool and will do the 'job'! :-*

I had great memories on that one. Not the arcade version I didn't played as far as I remember, but the AMIGA port of the game...but nothing can beat the life size thing! ;D

This Daytona is the one Chrischris mentioned in this topic (https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=3431.msg47425#msg47425), but I got it from a different seller...funny 8)

did you see that the one in chrischris report also has chairdamage about the same position.
I guess alot of people "hang" there while watching ;)
Blasteroids i dont dig that much, but thats my opinion, i am happy for you ;D

Yeps, I already had opportunities to buy it, but l wasn't crazy about that one, and so didn't got it ... so far.
But more I play it, more I like it... far better than the Amiga version, which was already very good.

blasteroids is a fun game indeed, i got mine for 50 euros working, you can't go wrong there 8). as for daytona 500: i agree, it looks cool, but i'm not sure how high the replay value is on this one. trouble with old em games is that they can get boring quickly, so you have to be very selective which one to get and which one to pass on, e.g. i'd love to have that junkyard em game that F.A.O. has - that is one hell of a game which makes you come back to play over and over again!

Well, I do not have that Daytona 500 anymore. Sold to an other collector, fan of electro-mecca 8)
