Looks like in nice condition under the dust, I'm not surprised, that the pcb is not working.
I have this modified pcb from Andy (P-Man) and it works fine:

Yeah, my boards had a 2708 to 2716 conversion done on it as well. The video output transistor seems to be blown at least but the game doesn't boot anyway.

To clarify, it's nothing to with Model Racing, the MR manual was just misplaced in The Invaders manual packet :)

The NOS-one should be scanned....EVEYTHING needs to be scanned....

nice restoration have you now finsihed, and is cab still working ok?

I am hoping to get mine working with some spare boards on route as only issue now is 2 sounds are missing [other 2 fine] and also there is some monitor ripple but i can live with that for now!
