hello all,
i need to redo the jamma connector of one cab. This time , i don't want to solder it :) but i'm a bit loss which connector i need to buy..
this is the jamma connector

Just check the micro switches that you have attached to your pushbuttons and joystick. Measure the width of the connections (male opposite of the shown female connectors) and you will know which one(s) you need.

Oh wait, I just realize what you want, you want to connect the wires with female connectors to the Jamma connector. That is odd, and not advisable, unless you really isolate the female connectors pretty good.
Never seen this done before. Anyway, I checked the width of the male pins on one of my jamma connectors, they are 2mm width. So I think even 2.8 will be to wide, also because the space between the pins is pretty narrow.
I don't think these pins are meant to be connected through female connecotrs, IMO the wires should be soldered. Why don't you want to do that?

thanks ckong. I wanted to do that in order to prevent the hassle of soldering :) I'm sure i saw that kind of harness somewhere (but with plastic isolation)
if it's uncommon, i'll not do that then. thanks for the advice
