Hi..

Got my hands on this RB neon-sign today, my friend said it wasn't working, but as fare as i can see, there´s no broken tubes etc....
so, maby it´s the trafo there´s something wrong with..... but i can´t open it because it´s glued together.... HELP!
Tried searching on the web, but with no luck..... hmmmmm

dont know if you have a probe for high voltage that you can put between your multimeter, then you could measure the 4,5 Kv..

4,5 KV ! , Be carefull !, its not a 12v bulb  ;)

Those kind of "trafo's" are pretty advanced and shut down if there are problems with the tube.
You might not simply see that problem.

I found the power suppplies (better name) for my large neon tubes on e-bay for very cheap. Brand was Ventex.
