A switcher is the US term for what is officially called a Switching Power Supply.
It's the ugly rectangular box on the backdoor right next to the PCB. It's full of 90's technology....doesn't belong in there !
...and the claim that it is more reliable than a linear power supply is false.

Not sure if the price is really insane, but no I would not have bought it really.
For me, when I buy a cab, the game has to be actually fun. CS is a BRILLIANT looking cab, and of course the whole part of history that it is means a lot, but the game......sucks.
Yes I've played it. If I had plenty of space, plenty of cash, and the chance to get one for a reasonable price I'd love to own one but all of those things are not reality ....

This cabinet is a real piece of art and it'll probably one of the few cabinets that will "stay" for the years to come...because it represents the 70s pop culture perfectly : sexy shapes (curves :-*), plastic, futuristic look, a item out of this world (even now), the beginning of arcade game! ... and it addition, you can play with it ;D
I keep this one in my living room as a "pop art" sculpture that leaves no visitor indifferent (gamers or not). Now, how to put a price on art things? What a debate isn't it? ::)
If you skip the 'gaming aspect', this cabinet is of the most beautiful one ever made :-*
If I had to keep only one cabinet, it would be this one... I don't care about the game... because with this one... its NOT only a matter of games ;D
