Hello all,
Since i'll have to do a capkit for my mtc9000. I heard about bob roberts. But i'd like to know if there's a way to buy capkit within europe ? Or where do you usualy get your capkit ?
thanks

RSonline. I used to get capkits too, but I prefer another brand (I thinnk higher quality) and high temperature (105 degr.) caps if possible.
Of course they don't have kits there but I can select the values for each cap. Bit more work but no shipping costs for me. Other thing is that most must be ordered in min. quantities of 5 but that leaves some nice spares for the next job :)

doesn't sound too bad, never thought about that because it's more work ;). which brand are you talking about?

Usually Panasonic. Nichicon is a great brand too.

I buy my caps in a local electronic-materials shop here around ;)
Obviously, you need the caps list (can be found on the monitor manual) and you must stay prepared for a second "round" because generally manuals are not 100% accurate and/or monitors see revisions on their PCB's
