the sad part is...: i had make a second deal last week with stefan l. from world of arcade for a near empty centipede cab in good condition. on my way back home i had wanted to meet stefan and picked up this cab. but as i arrived he told me, that guys from danish arcade museum has picked up pcbs and 2 cabs from him thursday this week. and they had picked up the centipede too, but stefan has not agree with it! like stefan said, they guys are in his second warehouse short-term without stefan and has taking 3 cabs incl. centipede, without an ok. sorry guys, that was not ok! ::) :(

THAT IS A BIG FAT LIE!
Just spoke to the guys from Denmark, and this is NOT the way it went down! - they where told they could take whatever they want because he wanted out of the arcade business!!!!

<Upsed mode off:>

Great catch! wow!!!! 50€!!! thats an insane price!!!!
would think so, the danish guys are nice and respectable people, they would NEVER take anything they werent allowed to...

but on the subject 50 euros is a real bargain  :) :)

that meteor and MMC where andre's right ?

The Space fortress belongs in hungary if you ask me..

and damn, those generics look almost like ZACC'S mini's (shapewise)

Thanks for sharing michael !
they are a nice shape. they were quite common when i was a kid, the local burgerjoint had 4 of them, the company who made them still exists, but they only make fruitmachines nowadays.  :-\

:o :o :o :o
Space Fortress!
Is there any chanche to trade with that Museum? ;D ;D ;D

As far as i know they dont sell their machines, Eddie told me that last time I was there, but try sending them an email - they are really nice people who dedicate a lot of time in their museum, and do their best to keep machines alive.

the kitchen is THE best workplace for any DIY - me and a mate needed to rebuild his motorcycle, it was full of dirt in the carburettors, we took them apart and put the parts in hís dishwasher, worked brilliantly  ;D
and his girlfriend was REALLY happy when she saw his bike taken to pieces in the living room, with us two sitting and discussing how to rebuild it best on the couch with the fueltank placed between us on the couch  ;D ;D ;D

i discovered another interesting detail when i removed the lower coin door: obviously a piece of wood from another cabinet was used for the construction of this game - you can still see the artwork on it. does anyone know which game it came from?

looks like a taito cab side to me, I've read somewhere that they used any disgarded pieces of cabinet for such parts, makes sense really - better than throwing it away  ;D
