It's easier not to put black color on sides with this brush (According to me)

Correct
The brush I'm using is more like a sponge than a simple paint brush. There's no 'hair' on it.
You can paint without making colors spots nor 'run-out' paint on the side for instance.

T-Molding time. Tools of the day
Let's start ...
What!? Maybe I went too hard
I was too quick on this
I didn't check the trench, but a some points the trench wasn't depth enough for this US T-molding ! I though it was because I putted too much glue, and so... I so I struck too hard with the 'soft customized hammer'
Well, I also have to say that the wood used for this cab is just ...too fragile
I also saw some nails inside the trench
I should pay more attention to the trench before starting the work
Ok, let's correct this *stupid* mistake! Wood filler first...and let's bring back my good old router, in order to dig the correct trench depth :
What a mess after the 'Router' work ... I really need a workshop for such operation
Ok, now I'm sure the trench is ok everywhere on this side... I can put T-Molding ...
Same operation on the other side... and this is it :
Fortunately, I have the *exact* yellow color, so it was not too difficult to hide the 'corner mistake'

Now, let's fix the bottom
'Primer' in order to fix the 'dead' wood
... let's wait few hours, and wood filler
*beware* : fresh paint

Hey, do you autographed the cab?
Well spotted!
Not really in fact
I use to do that when I clean paintbrush for example

...and back on the control panel, which is ready to receive the CPO.
The two holes done on that repro panel are not accurate as you can see.
At this point, I'm not sure if the original "players buttons", after 'screwed', will cover the missing part of the overlay because... I still have to find the perfect 'compromise position'...yes, there is an other hole to fit, the one for the joystick (not showed on the picture), and for that hole, I cannot cheat... opss... stop talking
, you'll understand on the coming pictures
So, just in case
This is the same yellow used on the side / CPO... so just in case
Here's the screws I'll use for fixing the joystick on the panel
I would like to paint them in the same yellow color than the panel... so here's my world famous 'mushrooms' pictures
Quizzz
What is the support used on these two last pictures
?

in that case, I've use a candy a chocolate box... I don't remember the name (I don't have the box anymore), but these are famous
You've to keep these chocolates in your fridge by the way
Ok back to the topic
Wait!...maybe you will recognize them, because of the box shape
Easy painting
:
...and after one day of drying, I'll 'drop' the screws once again inside the paint for a second layer.
It's time to apply the CPO.
Three holes to adjust : two for the players buttons, and one for the joystick. I give the priority to the Joystick one. This last one must be perfectly adjusted or it would look ugly!... but because of that, there is a small shift for the players button ones
That should not be a problem, because the buttons will hide the small shift
The major tool for applying a CPO in a curved panel : a dry hair
Applied and cutted

let's 'populate' the panel
mmhhhh... the paint I've used for painting the screws is too 'heavy'... even after weeks of drying ...it's still not completely dry, see
OK, I'll prepare a new set of screws with a yellow paint, done -like I use do to- with spray. During this time, let's use unpainted screws...
On location... not too bad
First test... I'm using the original plastic bezel around the monitor... but, even with the bezel glass, both don't hide wires
... see
OK, let's create a 'third' bezel... like this
Perfect now

Your third bezel is a class touch!
Ah, the chocolate shape: aren't they "gianduiotti"?
