I'll come back on the panel.

But for now, I need some fun... and also some 'yellow' paint... but for why  ???

Well, the cabinet has some damages, for example

So yes, I'll have to repair some wooden parts, and so I'll have to paint the repairs and few small areas...

But how to get that yellow color, the one who'll match the existing one  ::)

Well, did you remember that "Ms Pac Man story ?

Ok, here we go again  ;D

Yes, because the cabinet is empty, it's the perfect time... Remy, a colleague is with me (I do not want to be alone    ::)  ;D ) Let's load it :

10 minutes later, here's we are  8)

Mhhh... look at these black clouds... let's do this quick!

Arcade Life Style *powered*  ;D :

Entering the shop...

...and here's immediately the security is coming...

No problem... I know the way ... no more shame ...  8)

Here we are ... same machine ... same ritual ... customers watching the 'yellow' thing ... I hope some of them recognized the game? It was more easy for them last time, when I got the Ms Pac Man  ;)

I know this scanner works fine... I've used it for many projects (Space Ace, Donkey Kong, Ms Pac Man, ... just to name few)

A funny moment ... I let Remy alone with the cabinet ... in the middle of this big place ... and just watch what happen  ;D

Q*Bert for president!!!! his slogan : @!#?@!  ;D

And now the best part... do not miss this video clip !!!

 ;D ;D ;D

Mission Successful ...see the small can of paint... under the Q*Bert  ;)

bruno, this is hilarious ;D! you're the man 8) the short video clip at the counter is the topping on the cake. thx for sharing, top-notch!!!  :spaceace:

btw, does the scanner work 100%, that is: are the colors SPOT ON? because "my guy at the paintshop told me that those scanners at the home depots are crap and don't work as exactly as they should.

Well, from my experience, this one is just fine ;) It's the scanner used for my red DK... and also used by AndrĂ©  :) But I've heard that it was not always the case...

"my guy at the paintshop" has given away his 500-euro-scanner to a friend because it didn't produce the results he wanted. what i'm doing now when i want to have a color scanned is bring him a piece of the cabinet, he then sends if off to a branch office where the have a 12000-euro-scanner and the next day i can pick up the cabinet piece along with the paint can.

however, i'm not always 100% satisfied with the results, i'm somehow afraid that the guys scanning the colors only do it halfheartedly. for example the colors for my defender touchup were WAY OFF, much too bright, that'S why i'm struggling with them right now. you've got the advantage that you can tell them in person where they should make the scan. for example
all i need is ... PONG - and a select few others: TOUCH ME, DRAGON'S LAIR, JOUST, ROBOTRON, MR DO, SAN FRANCISCO RUSH THE ROCK!!!

Haha, that video is hilarious!! ;D
The cashier really doesn't notice you're messing with her

I found it funny/crazy when you brought the Ms Pac Man to your DIY store, and now you've done it again + plus a little extra with the cashier! You are my hero ;D

I witness that the DK red is absolutely 100% perfect. I made pics with and without flash with the bucket next to the cab and it was p-e-r-f-e-c-t. Now.....I need spring to start ASAP so I can start working with it  ;D

 ;D  :-*

The cashier really doesn't notice you're messing with her

Well, she wasn't sure... she had a doubt  ::) ... and at the end you can see she's calling someone from the 'wood furniture' for some help, in order to identify the 'thing', found a bar code  :D Next time I'll go a little bit further in the joke and wait until the 'chief' comes and see the cab', just to see his reaction ;D
Or maybe I should learn how to create a bar code that would display '@!#?@!?' on the cash register!  :P

Brilliant !  again to the same store with a complete cab ! LOL!

Or maybe I should learn how to create a bar code that would display '@!#?@!?' on the cash register!  :P

That would be something like this   :D

The only thing the barcode generator gives an error here is this symbol "#"  ;D
