Yes, this video is very old. I saw it when it first aired on TV. I don't know what he had up his sleeve or if he ever revealed it, but I do know he was helping an 79 or 80 year old lady get the Q*Bert world record. She had the record back in 1983, she was 58 years old then. She had the record for being the oldest world record holder. Someone beat her Q*Bert score in 1985, but she still held the record for oldest record holder.. she held that for 20 years until 1993.

Billy Mitchell gave her a Q*Bert machine so she could re-gain her title. She died at 81.
