I find and buy a Xevious cab in My city for a reasonable price.

Not in a perfect condition and not in a worst condition (apparently!!).
Need to remove some rust like on the coin door, a new joystick, a new control panel and a new marquee, where I can get some?

The sides art are damaged... any clue where/how repair/replace/buy a new sides art?

Wooah! Namco's Xevious  Shocked One of the best 'shooter' ever made! Congratulation  Smiley
It's one the games I'm playing the most, with Galaxian & Pac Man.
I got three weeks ago a PS3... and the first game I got was... Xevious Ressurection  Roll Eyes Tongue But of course, nothing can beat the original Xevious  Wink

You shouldn't change the side arts, they are not so damaged... let's prefere the orginal way  Wink
The CPO is available in many US online shops. Try also to catch a Wico's Red Ball leaf joystick (I got them on ebay US).
Do you have the original board, what about the monitor, ... please more info on this beauty  Tongue
Maybe you can have a look at my Xevious post right here.
Oh, and ... what a nice price for a such game, you're lucky  Wink

I'm jealous regarding the bezel... it looks more clean than mine, and there's still no Xevious bezel reproduction available as far as I know...

Hi DarthNuno  Wink Wink Wink Wink

I remember Your Xevious post  Grin

On the cab I find the original board, but need some check: sometime the board reset itselfs.

I have find inside the cab, the manual

I notice in the manual, is missing pages 1-3/1-4 and 3-43/3-44; any one have a copy of them?

I think it's necessary change the monitor.
It's visible, on monitor powered off, the Xevious logo.
A friend of mine suggesto to use a lcd monitor, but I try to find a 19" crt.
For the joystick, I need a 8 way?

I left a link with the set of a photo that I have done: http://www.uptiki.com/users.php?act=gallery&gal=248

On the cab I find the original board, but need some check: sometime the board reset itselfs.

It often happens where the voltage is too low (I got that problem on my After Burner II)... check & try to increase the voltage : a strong 12 and 5V, or change the power supply.

I think it's necessary change the monitor.
It's visible, on monitor powered off, the Xevious logo.
A friend of mine suggesto to use a lcd monitor, but I try to find a 19" crt.
As always, I would say... a brand new CRT TV, and the hand made PCB -> SCART adapter, for an arcade accurate picture  Kiss Cool

For the joystick, I need a 8 way?

Yes, the same than the ones on most of Atari panel ... Red Ball... and leaf contact.

Need to repair the marquee holder:
And need to sobstitute the damged marquee:

@Gyruss: yep  Wink Wink

@Nuno: where You get the Namco Museum collection 1?

Update:

1) I'm looking around for the joystick and for the four white button (I'm trying to restore to the original mode)

2) a new control panel:

3) a new marquee:

4) a panel of lexan of 42x52,8 cm

5) a strip of shock absorber for the glass and for the control panel:

6) how to correct the front panel: right part , bent part

Any help will be appreciated  Wink Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

These boards are for sale very often on ebay.com (there is one right here... but NOT working  oppps).
The usual price for that board is between $100 and $180 for information.
