Roadtrip! - Another Nintendo
« on: July 25, 2026, 04:11:23 PM »
Hello Sir's.

It's been way to long since I've posted anything here (mostly due to FB, Discord etc.) but I never forgot the roots.
I have gotten alot of games the 3 past years, but haven't posted anything (sorry)

I struck a deal with a fellow collector on Wednesday, and collected today.
So without further ado, some pictures from todays roadtrip.. :)

The route to DK3, roughly 1,5hr each way.

At the sellers place, he had it running - nice picture and in good condition.

He had a lovly bar at his place!

Game loaded

Game safe home in the shed

Me enjoying a nice beer :D

The seller, Kenny, had some nice games for sale, he was OK with I posted them here, so if anyone is interested, I can provide contact info.

This is a rare EPROM converted to Strike Force.
EPROM was only produced in 371 copies, and it has the correct sticker on the back.

Thanks for looking  :)

Ha, what a pleasure to see you drop by again, Michael  :)
Because without you, we don’t really get much news about the arcade scene in Denmark anymore?
Well, actually, I do still see a few topics pop up now and then about high scores and other competitions..in the Shed?  :pac:

Argh, an orange DK… and it really does look in amazing condition! I’m officially jealous. I used to have one too (DK Jr) that I stupidly sold during an “off” moment  :-\
I see you’re also enjoying some good beer… Belgian, of course 🙂
Keep the updates coming  :spaceace:
I miss the old buddies from the forum a bit…

Yeah, I miss the good old days too with the meet-up's and everything (EuroCade 🙏)

The arcade scene in DK is alive and kicking, I still have 4-5 Open Shed's every year, and we have gone back to the "playing the games" again.
It got a little to beery at the bar at one point, that's god and bad of course - but it's nice to se the games getting some play at the Open Shed's again.

It also helped tremendously that the local old score board got a re-write, and is now online where ppl can upload their own score - all I have to do now is approve them, instead of typing the hole shabang :)
New scoreboard is here: https://arcade.eternal.dk/the-shed/scores

There's also a new place in Albertslund (near Copenhagen) with a lot of dedicated games, Lars who runs the plase is a really nice guy! I have been there once - but spend way to little time there.
