Finally I could make my gameroom complete with a dot eater game.
I saw a few Pacmans and Ms.Pacmans for sale in the past few years, but my dream was a Zaccaria of course.
Paul had a spare cab in the UK and he was so kind and sent it to me to Budapest.
It was untested and there was no pcb in it, but I had all the necessary parts, to make it complete.
At some point, the cab was stored in a not completely dry place, I used a simple fan for a day to solve this problem,
Checked the voltages, everything seemed ok.
I checked the edge connector pinout, but it did not match to any known Pacman or Puckman pcbs.
A few years back, I bought a Puckman pcb with a Zaccaria serial sticker , the pinout is the reverse of Crazy Kong and the main screen shows Namco, so I modified the edge connector to this pinout.
Fired up the cab with this setup, I had massive neckglow on the Philips chassis, but there was just a blurry pic without sync.
My friend, the technician of the Hungarian Pinball museum helped me to recap the whole chassis.
And voila, the pic is almost perfect, just a very minor vibration in the middle right part of the maze, we couldn't solve this.
There was no NEON tube inside, fixed that also.
Result
Forgot to take a pic from the beautiful sidearts, this was made by Paul.
Huge thanks to Paul, for helping my dream come true.
