You sure that single strap is enough to keep it straight up during transport ? I used 3 for the Namco Galaxian and I still had my doubts.

I saw how carelessly the guy from the transport company handled it when it was on the "pump car" while he drove it out of my (former) arcade room towards the van.....these guys usually have to act quick and handle rough....I _was_ happy to see that he strapped it to the side of the van though....

Oh no problem with the strap.
The company I have used almost a dozen times in the past handles the pallets and freight very carefully.
They use a pallet truck like this one: http://www.midlandpallettrucks.com/adminimages/Company_16/AC25A-NYLON.jpg, a lift and strap the freight to the side of the vehicle as well. Never had any problems. I always send with Dachser. Not the cheapest but a really good and international transport company.

Excellent job on that.....I did it too.....but I went bubble wrap first (so the cardboard won't scratch the artwork....if at all possible ) then cardboard like you did and then another layer of bubblewrap. I had a look at shrink-wrap but damn that shit is expensive.

Yeah the company (I didn't arrange it, the buyer did ) used the same pallet truck....but even so...I thought it looked kinda wobbly....but maybe that is because my yard tiles aren't very straight anymore

I have used bubblewrap with cardboard in the past as well. But bubblewrap came out much more expensive the time when I used it.
Really love this shrink-wrap. Works a little like tape, you can wrap it real tight. And rolls are pretty wide so not to much work running around the cabinet

Last week a friendly but tired courier from Budapest (not my first choice, I would have gone with Dachser) came to pick up Asteroids and Centipede.
Truck didn't have a lift, so had to lift the cabinets with 3 guys by musclepower. Not easy and not preferred
Guy drove 14 hours to get here. Was going to take a nap in his cabine and then back to Hungary.

Im not afraid, make sure to tell the Truck driver that I will knock his teeth out if it is a scratch on my game, if he want to be wreckless he has Rogers to bonkers on.
