About that defender, did you cut off the bottom of the cab and put some new wood panel into it?

No, the bottom is original and seems to be fine. It's the lower parts of the sides/back/front that were in bad condition. But not fot much longer  ;)

No really hard working in progress here in summery Sweden...
But I finally got around to finish the cap-kit on the Nintendo PP-7B PSU, I will test it soon and see if the voltages still is spot on as they were pre-capkit

I got a Galaga PCB the other day that I did a quicktest on last night, only tested Video, after replacing two faulty RAM it fired up, think it´s something wierd with the sprites though...
dont really know Galaga but the bugs are not suppose to be flickering?
And my ship is kind of off-white in the color, It should be bright white I suppose?

I have ordered a jamma adapter (a friend from the Swedish forum makes really nice ones) http://retro-games.com/

You sure have some CPO-applying to do there, I am not jealous.

Today I continued with a little Ninty-project... a Sanyo that need some TLC.
First of all I tested it one last time to make sure that everything is more or less allright, or maybe to see it running for the last time if I fuck things up.

And beacuse It was a beatiful and hot day I could do the disassembly and washing outside for once, awesome.
I include a picture of how dirty it was before...

edit: I did NOT include a picture of how dirty it was due to max attachment size.... I think 1Mb is to little these broadbandy-days

I did almost the same way in my bathtub with my Amidar's chassis, installed it a day later without any problem, it works fine. ;)

Winni, the german monitor god  ;D, said once that you should at least protect all high voltage parts from water. And if you clean it that way, you should wait about 2 weeks to get everything out.
I remember that because I cleaned my Defender monitor also that way  ;D

Atarimania,
do I see a missile command cp in there? Hmm, I would need at least a black 4" trackball for MC, or a complete cp... ;)

Andreas: I know where there might be a MC panel with trackball... Im going to that warehouse with Kralleman next month if things fall into place.

Regarding chassis-wash,.this is my 4th to clean this way, never had a problem..OFC i dry it throughly, atleast 6-8h in ftont of a heating-fan and compressed air every now and then during the drying

Today I started looking at my first 2 zaccaria cabinets.
I have bought this at an auction.
After a short check up these cabinets were working fine while they were offered as not working.
The first was a legend of hero tonma inside and the 2nd a popeye bootleg pcb.
Now begins the great cleaning and here and there a little to makeover.
Looking for the right marquee , cpo and pcb.
This is how i will spend my summer.
