OK. I tested the board with the metal cage but it doesn't work. I already had another board to test and I want to respect the queue :D

In fact in the same box I found a ZAC THE INVADERS.
It's the 1st time I see that kind of board with the color part completely populated.

board doesn't work. then I could see colors are not so clear so I decided to use the composite output.
setting the power over 5.4 I can see the game but with corrupted graphics and after a bit freeze.
I replaced some RAMs but nothing changed.

Actually I'm scared there is a ROM problem.

We will see

ADDENDUM:

text is ok (CREDITS, INSERT COIN, scores, ...)
the Invaders don't appear in the beginning then moving on the right I can see something more. After few frames the game freezes

Do you know how to read 93451 PROMs? Or do you know their pinout?

Ok it works.
I had to replace the 2636

One question: eprom reader identifies the game as space intruder. Any differenze with the invaders?

Another difference is the cpu : The Invaders mounts a Signetics 2650 , while Space Intruder assemble a Zilog Z80

I read all proms as 2708 with this fast hand made adapter. Just connected CS0/ to ground and CS2, CS3 to +5V

I don't think I've ever seen a colour configured The Invaders PCB. Can you take a full picture of the whole board front & back? I've often wondered about populating the colour section but without the colour PROM it may not have worked. If you can dump the colour PROM it would be useful to see if it's the same data as is used on the B&W only boards.

In terms of Huslter, my Hustler cab has a Billiards PCB that looks like a bootleg. It has a SeeVend label on it so I've no reason to believe SeeVend didn't fit it. It's interesting to see you have something that looks like an original Billiards PCB with Zaccaria serial number & cage - does it have a SeeVend label also?

Great find!

Paul.
