not working CIRCUS EXIDY PCB
« on: April 14, 2016, 10:21:58 AM »
I'm going crazy with a CIRCUS EXIDY board. Do you know if there are a troubleshooting guide, web site, repair log or what else about that kind of boards?

thank you!!!

I fixed a similar board some time ago, a Crash bootleg, I thing the board is much the same, this one only had a couple bad rams, I'll check my notes and tell you.

I started from this point
I thought an easy fix because the game under the garbage worked

I spent a couple of nights to check the V signals, RAMS, and video signal generation trying to understand why a vertical line was missing..... then I discovered this

now switching on the game I have this image.

Yes it is good, but now the game  freezes after less that one second.

and, in any case, the first H line is missing...

Is it my eyes or this picture? I'm sure there are more shorts to be seen here.
