Yes,

Basically these models (look at the other links and be amazed! radiant silver gun and Silpheed!! enough said!) were presented during the wonder festival in august '08

WonderFestival is an underdog fair just before the Cx3 fair hosted by the Tokyo Big sight in August

(the same place where the Tokyo Anime Fair take is presented to the public in march)

The main difference is that that the wonderfestival is made most of all by garage kits and amateur kits

The Cx3 is organized by the big kit makers (bandai, takara, tamiya, etc..)

About the specific space ship you'd like to have there is only written on the link reported that it is sold in 3 pieces:

1) the space ship (uchu sha "intech" (Cover (Koba-)),

2) intech Compact (kompachi)

and

3) peeping star attachment (wind plinth)

Nothing it is written about the maker, the seller, the cost and/or versions available (usually there is a normal and a black variant minimum)

Hope this'll help you

Look for other infos if you are looking to grab one of this models

Maybe if I've got time when I'm there next month I can see to get one (even if looking at the high grade of perfection I think it is not going to be a cheap model)

Thanks bruno :-*

(Ehm.. don't think out there we are in love anyway, we are just friends!)

>Anyway, please make a TON of pictures for us please...

No problem for the photos of the fair, soon as back I 'll send them to you so you can post them (even if I think right here many don't mind at all of anime)

>everything about Galaxian/Starblade/Xevious of course

I think it is more like to find something in Retrogames stores (few at today) in Tokyo districts like Akihabara or Shinjuku

Anyway they are all from Namco, so the place to go should be Shinagawa where there is the new Bandai namco headquarter (with the puckman arcade cab that I played when I went there last year)

>You're so lucky to be able to go there...I'm jealous   ...why Japan is so faaaaaaaarrr

Then, Why don't you come this summer or this september for the Tokyo Game Show?

>I'm up if you can buy one for me

Ps= I think presumibly (as long as my experience in Japan) it is the kind of item EXTREMELY rare and EXTREMELY EXpensive

Think well about it before say yes because for them it is not a toy but art, so they want to get paid as artists that sell you a 1 on a kind portrait.. (500/1000 or down there)

I remember in October in Mandarake some out of print berserk's art of war figures at stellar prices (around 7,000 euro for the 1st Zord figure)

Japan it is not a cheap market at all

Yes Maverick, you're right...I didn't remember that most of these wonderful models are 'home made' by artists/fans, and so...rare & expensive.
In addition, the craziest Galaxian3/Starblade/Xevious fans are Japan based, and it's extremely difficult to get in touch with them, because of the language difference  :'(
Hopefully, I'm very happy to have few Japanese members on this board, very helpful and very kind  :)

Damnly right, even if their kits are so beautiful as expensive

Damnly right, japanese market is the best if you look for 100 % quality as rare limited items,

on the other hand Japan shops as Japanese kit makers don't sell outside Japan becuase they don't feel confortable for international trade (the japanese chamber of commerce is very strickly on lost packages with japanese traders - they have to refund the buyer in any case)

It is not just a matter of language.. even way of trading

I went to Japan as part of my honeymoon in 2004. Beautiful country and one of the best places in the world I have ever visited. Total culture shock!

Yeah, right

especially when you're a videogame fan in places like Sega Club's Amusement centers, Akihabara taito's videogame building and shibuya's historical Namco Inty (now closed! sigh!)

Or go at the mighty Sega white building in Ohta to work

It's a shock, yes definetely.

Yeah, garage kits like these are generally pretty expensive. Also they usually come unpainted and unassembled so they're for the pro modelers who are good at putting together models and painting them.

no, I think it is too particular and limited to be online

And to be sure to find it (it will require at least 3 days for searching in store all around Tokyo) and to do that and be sure to come back with it I think you've got to go there personally

Only you can have the patience to look in stores up and down for 3 days for just 1 item

Japan market is beautiful but also extremely difficult & expensive

Is this the Dragoon from Rising of Gourb? It looks suspiciously like it.
