If you remove the filterboards you have to make a new harness = not original anymore..

I'm not touching anything inside this cab until next failure.
My skills are too limited.
If it ain't broke don't fix it  ;)

Depends on the game. Atari's and Midway filter boards you can simply move the connector.

And how extreme can you go in keeping it original ? Also, if it makes the game more reliable I know what I'd choose :)

In case of Juno First you would have to redo the wiring completely, there are about 6 or 7 separate connectors going into and going out of the filterboard. And indeed, using the filterboard is more original, that's the way I prefer it also. Of course, if the filterboard only causes trouble over and over again, then ditch it.

Chris, take a look at this, Juno First running on 230V :)  If I can do it, then you certainly can do it.

Cool!
Mine was missing the power board so I use arcadeshop switcher -> this part is already running on 220V
but I have a second plug (american) for the power supply (feeding only my screen) and that one is indeed 110V.

I have to tidy that indeed!

Oooh... will we see either of these cabs at Eurocade? If so, that is worth my trip alone.
All I wanted was a Pepsi!
Currently looking for an original Wonderboy PCB.
