Amsterdam June 22 to 25

Hi.


I will be on a workshop for HVAC-systems in Amsterdam from June 22 'til 25. I will arrive Monday evening and leave Friday morning.

Any ideas how to spend the evenings there? Maybe an arcade, bars/clubs with rock'n'roll music (how's the Hard Rock Cafe there?) ?  

And I'm NOT interested in drugs or 'love' then

There is the Tonton club in Amsterdam http://www.tontonclub.nl/, a hipster arcade in the redlight district

I don't come in this city very often, can't help you with this

There is a small arcade with some great classic games nearby Amsterdam,  in Rotterdam area to be exact.  Don't know about opening hours though. ☺

I will go there by train so I won't have a car to travel a lot. I will check out the homepage of the Tonton Club

I'm sure I won't get bored there. My search already led me to some clubs with live music

Due to the holiday i am replacing my coworker, and that happens to be in Diemen, which is very close to Amsterdam.

I finish 18:30 there, so if you take the train to Arena Station, i can drive you to Rotterdam area and drop you off there.
I dont know what time you need to be back the day after (if you stay over at a certain person) but i return again to the same customer the next day and be around 9:30 in Diemen again, so i can also bring you back then to Arena Station

I visited "Coffeeshop the Spirit". For playing pinball it is very good:
AC/DC (Premium), Avatar, Big Buck Hunter, Metallica Master of Puppets, Pirates of the Caribbean, Shrek, Star Trek: The Next Generation, The Walking Dead (Pro)

Where is that small arcade with classics in the Rotterdam area ? 

I hear it's a messy place with lots of games not working. Some are in very nice condition though and the beer is always cold

Unfortunateley this is not a fun tour, I have to be concentrated on the stuff happening during the day. The goal is to be able to explain our HVAC systems to international pharmaceutical inspectors when they come to visit our site in Mannheim + this all is very expensive. So I can't take any risk to miss some of the stuff by arriving late or fight against sleep while I'm supposed to be super concentrated

I have a room in the Radisson Blu Hotel. The workshop is going to happen there and the area around it seems to hold lots of stuff to enjoy

I might visit that mentioned coffee shop and play some pins....some interesting stuff there.....no, I don't mean the drugs, I'm totally clean by never smoking or using any drugs (except alcohol, if you consider this being a drug as well   )

heheh, the place where I first played Ms.Pac Man and Q*bert was a coffee shop and I dint't know it

Never touched anything other than (moderat) alcohol either. That shit is more than enough for me

Uhh...ohhh....better you stay at home.... 
But for real i was wondering, that you can't buy beer in the coffeshops...
