I had (my brother more precisely) had a ZX81 when Dragon's Lair came out, back in 83'... It's funny because when I played Dragon's Lair at the arcade, I dreamed about playing a such game at home, but all we had at home was this ZX81 computer... and now, here's a ...ZX81 version!  Grin  arrow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6-_48Aqso0&feature=youtu.be

Not bad for an upgraded calculator Wink Grin

It never fails to amaze me what people can trick out of ancient hardware Smiley

An A8 conversion would be "a piece of cake"....

Dreaming of a Namco Galaxian waiting in a barn for me... somewhere! A Nintendo Sheriff would also make me happy. And a SNK Sasuke Vs Commanders or a SEGA Samurai... Argh too many; in fact!

An interview of Jim Bagley, the coder of this *impossible* version is available in the latest Retro Gamer magazine (issue 140).

Hi there, I just wanted to let you know that the ZX81 version is already available for those of you who might be interested in that.
Here you can see that version in action:

https://youtu.be/UIq7eJG3a0E

Gameplay wise it is not the best Dragonīs Lair version for sure, but still very impressive in my opinion.  Grin
