You only have to bring one game,  that's the idea behind eurocade.   :)  will be nice to see you two again.

As always Eurocade has reboosted me to fix my cabs, just ordered some ribbon cables from arcadeshop.com for my TRON.

I can only say its heavy...

Look at the last pic what it did to the cart we used..   :o

Those two guys really took an effort, bringing that huge and heavy bike to Eurocade 2012. They should be special guests for the 2015 edition.

I happen to now those guys ;)
fun to see its still remember t in my opinion the best editions of eurocade .

But as you guys also now, I am completely out of the arcade world and most of my cabs are sold
so cant bring to much for this years eurocade.
But still have some stuff left over
a little hint on what I am trying to bring for this years edition.

at the moment trying to dig it out of storage didn't run in almost two years but will do my best to get it running.

But even when I am out of the arcade scene still looking forward to the event. :)

OK friends, I've been updating the first post with all people who said they intend to come and also with the machines that have been mentioned to be there. Of course this is not set in stone.

If at all possible, I would love to "fill in the blanks" so if you see -cab ? please post here or PM me what you will bring :)

This kinda works as an "avalanche" the more people know what games (and how many) will be there, the more interesting it will be to attend :)

So far we have 24 machines listed but more are promised. We can easily handle 50 machines in the room so bring them on people :)

Jochen Hippel: since Chris will bring his Space Zap table, can you bring another machine ? If not we could "swap" it for another machine that Chris could bring...

Very stoked about this event! It's closing in! Since I am flying in from Norway I can't bring a cab, but I am very happy to see that so many of you are bringing some great games along.
:D I checked out the website, and I couldn't find anything about food. Are there any affordable resturants close to the location? I need my bitterballen-fix!  ;D
All I wanted was a Pepsi!
Currently looking for an original Wonderboy PCB.

Hah ! Our famous contribution to the world's cuisine ;)

Well those famous healthy vitamin and fibers filled snacks like Frikandellen, Kroketten and Bitterballen can be ordered at the bar :):) As mentioned, like the drinks this year we have to order from the bar but prices are moderate enough.

Anyway, no worries about dinner or restaurants ....we will have the traditional complete power down and gameroom lock at 18.00h. and have our ritual community meal together......unless you really don't like Chinese/Indonesian food....but we're also looking to add some other food for those people....
Note that the restaurant we used to get the food from no longer exists ;);)

>>> If there is anyone who has special food needs please let us know !!!!!!! <<<

OK as you guys know we have some costs for this event, like rent of the building for three days, food, electricity and some other stuff. We did a bit of calculation and we have come to an entry fee of 15 Euro per person.

As always we try to keep costs to a minimum and we are completely non-profit but there will of course be the traditional piggy bank for any extra voluntary donations, and you guys are going to LOVE this year's version :D

I'm at work and can't update the website right now, hopefully I have a bit of time in the late afternoon...

Was chatting with Fred Meijer the other day. He's a serious  and long time collector of Atari stuff and the owner of www.rewindgames.com .

Talked about Eurocade and if he'd be interested to come (and bring his Canyon Bomber ;) ) and I also suggested he could do a bit of sponsoring.

He agreed and this arrived in this nice cheque arrived in the mail today, 30 euro you can spend in the we shop of www.rewindgames.com, thank you Fred !

We will be having a small competition. The game will remain secret until the event. I'll post the rules in a moment.

And we're working on some more great prizes !!

Added some games to the list:

-Laszo will bring Frogger or Space Invader (the cute small SI clone)
-Luigi/Capt.Kirk will bring at least Space Encounters, a brilliant B/W shooter,  but they will cram a few more games in their van ! :D
-Jinkxz will be trying to get his A.P.B. up and running and bring it

Maybe, but I don't feel that's something we would like to do during Eurocade...

I had a look at the long-term weather expectations (I did before on previous Eurocades, and they tend to be surprisingly accurate) and it looks really really great:

Friday (set-up day) :     sunny, 20 degrees
Saturday:                     mostly sunny, 19 degrees
Sunday (clean-up day): occasional showers, 19 degrees

http://www.accuweather.com/nl/nl/rotterdam/251688/september-weather/251688

So....not too hot, not too cold and mostly dry :)

An advice for everyone: If you want to enjoy the full "Eurocade experience" I would strongly suggest to arrive on the friday.
First drop-off your machine(s) at the clubhouse so the Eurocade crew has plenty of time to set it up and you can go to the Hotel and check in, maybe have a refreshing nab and shower after the long travel and then get your ass back to the clubhouse to enjoy the set-up.... :D
Usually we are done around dinner time so the friday evening leaves plenty of time for a cosy pre-party :)

Then the saturday will be a relaxed day of play and fun from 10 am till around midnight.

Sunday is "clean up day", we have to remove all the cabs and bring back the clubhouse in original condition.

This would require a two-night stay for you guys, from friday to sunday.

YOU CAN STILL GET A ROOM FOR 2 NIGHTS FOR 2 PERSONS FOR THE VERY CHEAP PRICE OF €115 TOTAL INCL. AN EXCELLENT BREAKFAST AT THE VAN DER VALK HOTEL WHICH IS VERY CLOSE TO THE VENUE:

https://bookingtool.valk.com/Hotel%20Ridderkerk/en/0/?_ga=1.65742318.152343622.1341414125

Even if you're not 100% sure at this moment I highly suggest reserving a room NOW because you can still cancel it FREE until 24h. of your stay. Prices may well go up or the Hotel may even be booked full when you wait with reserving !!

Also, please inform us of your plans, cab, day of arrival/leave so we can schedule everything.
