I don't frequent here as much as I used to, but thought I'd share my 2012/2013 with you guys as I know you all like a documented event!

Back in 2012 I saw someone had done a whole year of their life in video snippets. I decided to do the same, so, starting a bit late (Feb 23rd) I started.

This is my 2012, and a bit of 2013, in video clips.

Thought some of you might enjoy. It certainly brings a smile to my face :)

hmmm, it does have some copyrighted audio tracks on it and did say that it may not be available in some countries.....Could be that?

Yes thats it, Germany does block certain content.

same happened with a video i did some years ago, copyrighted music..

Pulled the first coffee of the day and watched the clip (btw, thanks for the Dropbox-Service!).

The coffee was cold because I completeley forgot to drink. This is really amazing  :spaceace:

Your video reminded me to enjoy the good times of our life. Enjoy it when you and the ones you love are healthy and doing well.

You guys can just use the Google Chrome Hola extension to switch your country settings using a proxy

This way you can watch content that's not available in your country

So glad you enjoyed it ;D

I've shown it to many friends and people at work and it has inspired quite a few people to do the same (whether they last a year will remain to be seen). But the message I get back from nearly all of them is exactly what you are saying, essentially, enjoy the good times, you don't realise how many there are!

My kids love it! Probably because they are the stars of the video but we have watched it at least once a day since I finished it lol.

We are off to Florida soon and I was thinking about doing a similar video encapsulating the whole trip in 1.5 second snippets. Hmmmm, need another couple of good audio tracks.....
