I got them from the son of an old arcade operator years ago. A nice collection. So yeah a lot of pictures but also a lot of very interesting articles/stories... but in french. I'll publish them too.

The Ninja Warriors by Taito...THE row! #taito #ninjawarriors http://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=297Who said 'The Ninja Warriors' was a rare cabinet, huh? Here's a row of them... ;-) This picture has been taken during the inauguration of the new location (Gennevilliers) of the french company called 'NEWKO', the 7th december 1988. In addition of building their own (generic) cabinet, they were imported Gottlieb & Taito games...

The Ninja Warriors by Taito... the price & the girl! #ninjawarriors #taito http://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=298Wanna buy a Taito 'The Ninja Warriors' dedicated cabinet? Back in february 1989, retail price was 25000 French francs... which is about 3800€ Note that this one was cheapest than Chase HQ... Nice model by the way :-)

N'Styl versus at AmusExpo 88 #nstyl #amusexpo #vsfighting http://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=301Here is the stand of the french generic cabinet manufacturer N'Styl, where you can see their cabinets. When setup 'back to back', like you can see on this picture, it almost looks like the famous 'Versus Astro City', a well know set up for fighting games. But we are here in 1988, during the AmusExpo 88 in France.
