Pallavolo
« on: April 24, 2015, 11:56:32 AM »
I found some years ago this cabinet.

this is the game
https://youtu.be/qXlFyDXJqCo
video is not so clear, but it is a "pong" with horizontal paddles and the ball goes from one side to the other side with a parabolic trajectory

yesterday I decided to restore the "marquee"

this was the starting condition

I copied the image on a transparent paper

I scanned and vectorized it (with the help of my collegue)

A friend of mine prepared stencils for me in a couple of hours

So I cleaned the place removing the rest of the image

I used a glossy white spray

then I removed the mask

and that's all

Now I'm waiting a couple of days for the last finishing touch

So it's a Rebound bootleg :)

yep, it's rebound. considering the producer is F.lli Bertolino I suspect it had been licensed, but... who knows?

I absolutely dig these italian cabs - I've spent tons of coins on them back in the days, going to Lago di Garda with my parents for holidays for many years. Keep those photos coming :)

Well done!!!
Dreaming of a Namco Galaxian waiting in a barn for me... somewhere! A Nintendo Sheriff would also make me happy. And a SNK Sasuke Vs Commanders or a SEGA Samurai... Argh too many; in fact!
