More serial numbers, assume cabs are curvy marque style unless stated otherwise), in brackets after what was labelled:

AVG Pac'n'Paint converted to Jungle King (flat marque): V129763 (cab, monitor), V133494 (game PCB & mounting plate)
Quasar (Dambusters converted): V111214 (PSU, monitor)
Frogger (flat marque, dedicated): V126596 (cab, brick & PSU)
Pac'n'Paint: V128628 (brick, monitor)
Scramble (KT-3 style): V124637 (cab, unopened)
Eyes (flat marque): V137836 (cab, unopened)
Universal Star Track'n'Field (flat marque): V134362 (cab)
Quasar: V111580 (cab)
Laser Battle: V126788 (cab, brick & PSU, though PSU is labelled "Super Cobra")
Frogger: (curvy marque in Cobra style cab): V128812 (cab, unopened)
Vanguard (Scramble MTC-900 style): V125098 (everything)
Super Cobra (curvy cobra style): V125984 (cab) <- I should have said above that the 1st Cobra I listed is that oddball atypical conversion style one).
Puckman (dedicated): V112846 (monitor), V122898 (brick, PSU labelled "Puckman").
Phoenix: V116803 (cab)

I'm not sure the serial numbers say much, but they might if we get enough of them?
Paul.

The distance in numbers suggests they turned out a lot of Quasar cabs but the really interesting one is that your Vanguard and my "Cobra" style Frogger rolled off the production line only 25 cabs apart  :o Likely they were neighbors at the factory :)

This one is not Zac but I scanned it anyway since I had it to hand and the one on KLOV is awful quality as are most of the "old" scans on there - Model Racings Dribbling:

Hi Paul,
did you put Tactician and Zaxxon in the same file for any reason? is tactician a converison kit for zaxxon or something?

The cab was originally a Tactician that it looks like NSM converted to Zaxxon (there are NSM flyers for both games). NSM removed the title cover from the original manual and added a sheet for additional Zaxxon information (the Konami adaptor wiring chart & DIP switches). Since the manual appears to be a Zaccaria manual for Tactician, mentioning the marque & control panel overlay parts for it, it would seem that Tactician is original Zac. So far, no evidence has been found to indicate if Zaxxon was ever native out of the Zaccaria factory versus NSM conversions of a batch of Tacticians. I'm not aware of a complete Tactician cab still existing.

Cool, thanks BS.

This is a scan of my Quasar manual, an original printed booklet edition:

 . #002 - dead, white screen
 . #003 - Boots OK (V114407)
 . #004 - Boots OK (AL 44824)
 . #005 - Boots OK (V114604)
 . #006 - Boots OK
 . #007 - Boots OK (V117518)
 . #008 - resets after boot (V114586)
 . #009 - dead, snow video (V114224)

errata/addenda ---> it's definitely an UR-2 model, some parts are in common with UR-4 model (elliptical loudspeaker, grid, back panel without metal flange...), i'll take soon some pics for you.

Does anyone have the engineering blueprints for these Zaccaria cabinets?

I would like to build a Star Splash UR2 from scratch - Is that possible to do?

Do these cabinets ever come up for sale? I have never seen one which is why I want to build my own

Any info would be great, this is definately the place to ask.

In italy you can find zaccaria's cabs of course. I think abroad is more difficult but actually best zaccaria collectors are abroad :D
