Cool!

And now even more curious, why do you think game play sucks? Is it not realistic?

So the game play doesn't suck, you guys simply can't drive  ;) ;) ;) ;D ;D ;D

Hmm. if we talking about this cab and who can drive and who can't, I saw F355 last time on a gokart ring.
I'm a member of the Pata Negra racing team (Pata Negra is the best spanish restaurant in Budapest), we use ultra strong racing gokarts to practice. ;) ;D

Looking for a container. Doesn't matter if full or empty. Doesn't matter if working or complete ... And all things Exidy!

well... i just don´t think it is realistic. i also used to own a Kart for 5 years and i think i know how to drive this thing. i also owned a pretty nice fast german car from stuttgart till last year. ;)
it is a hard racer, more frustating than entertaining. i think an arcade game should entertain you. imagine afterburner as a realistic game. would not be that much fun to crash on the runway after a few seconds. ;)
Looking for Dragons Lair 1 or 2, Space Ace, Double Dragon, Robotron and yeah... a Shinobi would be cool, too!

I wouldn't say it is not realistic, but you don't have the "arcade feeling" in this game, it is rather a modern driving simulator. :P :-*

Gents, I am interested in Simulators that are REALISTIC not arcade like. My question to you road warriors is: IS THIS A GOOD SIMULATION? OR IS THE SIMULATION BAD (like in not realistic)?

I dont mind if its boring and/or hard as hell, I just want the real deal. Is this one of the real deals?

hard to day... i drove a porsche 911 for 2 years. i also did some kart driving in the past with my own kart and with karts from friends. since the feedback is completely missing i would not call it a realistic driving experience. that´s why i said that for me it only is a hard racing game. i have no experience with ferraris... i can not really comment on that.

OK, I have never driven a real F355 but I can imagine it is not the most easy car to drive and barely something that can be compared to a kart... Or a Porsche !!!

If you flatten the gas pedal on start you will very easy get into an uncontrollable spin, something that would happen with a real Ferrari too as far as I've heard.

IMHO it is a simulator and knowing you a little bit! you are going to like it.
It is far, far away from ARCADE racers like Daytona, which are fun arcade games but are very unrealistic in most aspects.

If you loose distance to the race leaders, F355 is not going to "bring you back". you're just screwed I. That position, and that is exactly what would happen in the real world right ?

Don't kill me if I turn out to be wrong though :)

This reminds me a bit about Hard Drivin' vs. Pole Position.

Pole Position is a fun arcade racer, easy to learn, very unrealistic, loft of fun for one or two games.
Hard Drivin' is HARD to play, pretty damn realistic for it's age and a lot of fun to own at home because it will stay fun for a much longer time while you learn to master the car.

I would choose HD over PP any time to buy as a home game.

Vidoe got me sold on it. Looks like what you Need before actually buying a real Ferrari.

Soooo, who is Mr Tel? Is he selling at retail Prices like 3000+, or is he interested in selling it probably?

Mr Tel was THE arcade man in France.
I would compare him to Mr Zaccaria or Siddam,  ... more, it's THE guy who imported THE arcade in France, and THE bootleg specialist! (all cabinets, hardware PCB bootleg and even pinballs under the name JEUTEL...it's him!)  ;D
No idea about the price.. just call him for a fast answer. I know a little bit the guy, it's still possible to negotiate with him  ;)

I played this game this summer in Switzerland in a Bowling Alley / Amusement Center nearby Bern. Cost 5 EUROs for one credit - and that one didn't last long.
There's one seller from Austria on Ebay all the time trying to sell it - seems he made a buy out on an family resort.

For you - it might be easier to get one from Poland. I assume this guy is selling them, too (nearby the German Border).
www.jokergry.pl - I talked to him last year (when I was situated in Berlin for work) - nice guy - at least via e-mail :)

Switzerland is an insanely expensive country. That price is nuts. Then again, buying a simple sandwich there is also insanely expensive. I try to avoid it as much as possible.
