Back for a new roadtrip... it's been a while isn't it  Smiley

This back, back to 'roots' ... it'll be a UK roadtrip ... yes yes... I guess I should live over there  Cool  lol

Ok, it's Wednesday evening, the 13rd of august 2008 (three months ago Huh? Yes ... arg  Roll Eyes ). Let's prepare the car... and a trailer for tomorrow :

Yes...a trailer because there will be TWO games  Cool One will be on the trailer, the other one inside my car  arrow

Hey ... what about the Dr Pepper cans ?  They are already in the car, with other usual roadtrip items  Tongue arrow

Ok, D-Day  Roll Eyes  arrow

4:35 AM  shock  arrow

Here's the travel of the day :

Wait... I won't do it alone... this time, Sam [guardian of my Galaxian Theater in his garage for more than one year] will be a part of this story.
For information, traveling to UK via the Euro Tunnel will be a premiere for him  Space Ace

Here's the man :

Starting from Belgium... and 3h30 or 4h00 later... arriving in France  arrow

...and at Calais, where we'll use the Euro Tunnel  arrow

Few minutes before entering into le Shuttle

Here we go  Space Ace

Time to waste ? Hopefully we have a Retro Gamer mag' with us to read Kiss

Welcome in UK :

M20 ... all the way  Cool  arrow

The DartFord bridge...

...and the price to pay  pacman Ghost Ghost Ghost Ghost

Driving in England is easy (I mean driving on the left part of the road) when you're driving on a motorway... but you really have to be careful in the small roads like this one  :

On location. Here's the games  arrow

As you can see, these cabs are in a really good cosmetic condition  Kiss Kiss Kiss arrow

Have a look at the side art on both games ... great condition  Kiss Kiss Kiss  arrow

Beautiful isn't it  Kiss Kiss Kiss

The Gyruss will be in the car...

Did you notice ? I'm very happy to finally found a Gyruss... a game on my 'MUST HAVE' list  Tongue Cheesy

Because that Pac Man will be on a trailer, we have to protect it as much as possible  pacman

...AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE...

It should be fine now  Wink  arrow

...very well protected, even the base... in case of rain (don't forget we are in England now)  Space Ace

Very kind seller by the way... but It's the worst moment (   Tonguelol

Ok... we are far from home... time to say good bye, and add two more great vintage cabs in Belgium  Grin

Sam is hungry... let's make a stop...

Nice T-shirt by the way, isn't it  lol  pacman Ghost Ghost Ghost Did ya say Geeks  Roll Eyes Tongue Grin

Back on the Dartford bridge...

UK means rain... almost all the time  Undecided ...

Arriving at the EuroTunnel... nice cab car  Kiss

...in France...

...and in the final country  arrow BELGIUM POWER !!!  Grin

Of course... no more empty space in my game room or in my house... So once again, Sam will keep the games in his garage few days/weeks/months/...  Roll Eyes Grin He's not to angry...because these games are smaller than the Galaxian Theater  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Now the RT details   Tongue

1107km / 17h20min on the road, 100km under water (Euro tunnel)  Space Ace

More details on both games soon  Kiss
