Looking for some Zacc connectors
« on: June 17, 2013, 08:55:28 PM »
My italian Friend and me looking for some connectors, they were used in Quasar, Astro Wars, The Invaders, Dodgem, Galaxia and maybe on some other manufacturer's pcbs.
They have pins.

If anybody has some or at least know the official name of them, please shout! :D

Interesting, I was just thinking about these connectors when unplugging my Invaders pcb yesterday and bending a few of the pins. Count me in if you find some ;)

Use the standard style sockets that mate with standard DIP SIL pins and then use a pair of mating SIL header back to back as a gender changer, like this:

This is from my JAMMA test adaptor for Quasar, but I've done a whole set of Quasar connectors this way.

Regards,
Paul.
