Hi folks,
I know everybody is looking forward to container pics - but here is a short story about bencao74 and my 2-day trip to the netherlands:
After negotiating a few weeks with a dutch arcade warehouse we wanted to take a look and probably take a few machines with us.
By luck the same week we planned the trip there was a nice Pole Position Cab on marktplaats which luckily I won - so we worked out the route and Sunday morning drove off.
#Day1:
Short look into bencao74 gameroom - hmmh...seems we need to get some space once we come back.

Ok - lets start. First place: The beautiful seaside od Lelystad, near the Ijsselmeer to pick up the Pole.
But lets get some food first:

The car setup - a van and a horse trailer:

and while we are at it - we decided to bring punkrockcaveman an Operation Wolf machine, hence he always wanted to practice aiming.
So into the trailer with it:

Fits perfectly.

After a 2 hours drive we arrived at Oldenburg - where the Cave is situated. Unloading the Operation Wolf to the Street:

That Taito beast is soo heavy - we decided to leave it in the garage instead of bringing it downstairs. But hey - whats inside the garage?
Looks like a Thunderblade Sit Down and other arcade stuff:

After some additional minutes and with the help of a sleepy Punkrockcaveman we were able to place it into the small garage:

First step done - now off to the netherlands....
Watch out for the speed limits.

By lunch time we arrived at Lelystad - nice view btw:

Although the Designer Outlet was open we rather decided to visit a small game room to pick up the Sit Down:
Nice gameroom:

Bencao74 couldn't resist and took a ride on Californa Speed by Midway. That cab is awesome and has good sound!

and there was ii - the reason we came for.
A nice italien Pole Position Sit Down - Working but had minor issues with the steering.

and while we were there the guy offered us a nice small Rally X carbaret of his gameroom, too.
"OK, we take it" and onto the trailer:

Part 2 of the roadtrip mission finished - now to the next station - a secret warehouse near the city of Eindhoven:
Holy shit - a warehouse full of arcade machines! Heaven just in front of us:

Lots of Scud Race DLX machines.

Some skating machines from Namco and one of 2 Enduro Racers.

Another DLX Racer and a double Vapor TX.

NExt one - a double seater GTI Club.

Nice Wave Runner - but too big and heavy for us.

The Racer tunnel - there must be the machines we came for...

Somewhere in the corner...
...nearby...
there it is:

An Atari Road Blasters Sit Down.
Looking good:

and works.

Lets get it onto the trailer:

- unfortunately it didn't fit! Aaaah. Too bad. We need to come back - with a larger car.
so we made another appointment and drove off to Germany.
#Day 2:
Another day - another car:

getting the route - again to Eindhoven:

We then arrived at MP Game company meeting Hans and his nice crew.
Going to the warehouse again.
Lets see if we can take something else in addition - what about these?:

both were not working and while I already had a Hang On twice and a Racin' Force we left it.
Let's see what we've got over here:

A nice Mad Dog Mc Cree II - Lost Gold. American Laser Disc game. Game started and that cowboy sounds came up - but the monitor seemed to be broken down (=black)
Let's get on with the Racers instead:

Nice twins....but there she was - the pink lady:

and both sides powered up. Great find.
"OK - this one is going into the game room, too".

and don't forget the Road Blasters:

Thanks to Hans we went back to Germany - with a short stop at a horse courtyard:

These tiny little horses are called Falabellas.
In the end we unloaded the RoadBlaster at my house (together with the Pole the day before) while the Daytona went into the Northern GameRoom of Bencao74.

That's it.
Now here are the details:
The Arcade company is a rental service in the city of Oirshot, near Eindhoven. As you can see the owner Hans, has lot of arcades left. Mostly racers but a few elder ones.
Unfortunately most of these are twin ones or the very large DLX versions - so you need space and a large doorway into the house :-)
He needs to sell everything within the next weeks so if you want to make an appointment visit his website:
http://www.mpgamecompany.nl/site/ and say greetings from the RoadBlaster guys

He is very friendly and kind.
