The best part to me was sunday morning
The arcade in combination with the perfect music, some visitors and a good temperature
Hah yeah....for me it was when a certain band called Level 42 happened to come along on the music

By the way, loved the music Etienne. I think I might need to have to copy those sticks of yours.......

The sound quality of the installation was awesome too. Love that.
Yes at some moments the heat went up in the room, of course having so many machines running plus a lot of people couldn't be battled by the regular air conditioning, and even the extra rented unit couldn't prevent it. However, it was way way way cooler than Eurocade 2011 at all times, and the extra big fan on top of the Space Invaders cab was a good idea on the sunday...
For sure, we never expected so many visitors and at some moments people had to wait a bit for their turn on the machines. However, I have heard no complaints at all about this...I hope/think people accepted it.
From what I've seen the people were really awesome.
Every bit of fear we had about possible annoying people or maybe some cab slapping or food/drinks being brought in was without a reason.
Once or twice I had to ask people to remove a (properly closed, but still) drinking bottle, which they did and understood. Also had to caution one or two children who were waiting for the Afterburner, after all we worried a bit about their fingers with that huge moving cabinet. Lines were set-out, but you know how kids can be...not seeing the danger.
I have seen/heared absolutely no hitting or slamming of any cab at all.......people totally seemed to respect the games and I heard many people say they were so amazed that the machines were in such great condition still (so I explained that often a lot of hours and love went into getting them back like that).
Of course we had a good number of people asking if the machines were for sale, but no-one accepted my asking price of 50000 Euro for the Star Wars cockpit

Seriously, prices may go up now

Maybe we'll see an effect like "King of Kong" had on the DK machines
