Thanks for the report  :).

(what do you think of my red tool?)

What's it for? Is it a toy? It's made of way to much plastic.

Great chris !

Its comming together nicely !

The bezel compare shot looks like the purple is blue  ???

Is the rest matching that or was it just so much faded into purple ?

About the free-play: if there isn't a dip-switch setting for it we still have some of those excellent button brackets that Luigi made last year that can be installed on your coin door (temporarily) in seconds.

About the cat: Excellent to pick it up and dust of bezels etc. ;)

After vacuuming cabs I always take some paper towel, spray a bit of cleaning stuff (like glasses) on the towel and then wipe the entire bottom and sides. Makes it smell a bit fresher too ;)

@ Gerry: yes, it's one of my kid's toys  ;)
@ Etienne: it's a bit different you'll see when I reassemble the whole thing.
Mikonos suggested a "full restoration" in order to make all the blue perfectly matching, but... you know me and my "soul of the cab" thing: I could'nt resolve to remove the original stickers that were already there,
because to me, even if a bit damaged, they are 10.000 times more valuable than any repro.
@ André: Good idea! I'd like to clean the back of the monitor better too but I had no tool around to discharge it at that moment, I will do that next week.
... and I was kidding about the free play part, of course :)

Sorry for the off topic, could you give me a link to see this "button brackets"? Thanks!

OK, high time to populate that lonely CP:

Using the picture from the manual to make an almost perfect reproduction:

...and now that once full of arcade parts candy box makes a perfect douchebag jar for the house (not that I need one):

putting everything back together (and play a little of course ;D):

Note that the dots from the CPO are not super aligned with the bottom part of it but, hey it's just a repro (maybe one day I'll find an original one):

Nightshot of that cool marquee for your viewing pleasure:

Next in line:
-repaint all the black areas in...well, black.
-find a coindoor and rebuild it inside the cab
(there's one for sale atm at Quarterarcade but Super SuperUlly might have one for me... fingers crossed! thanks, buddy!!  :spaceace:).

Nope, just moved it aside for the picture.
The monster is convenient and cute so it's definitely a keeper  :pac: :pac: :pac:

Thanks scr33n!
I've seen both versions on the Juno First cabs pictures found on the internet (with and without the Gottlieb insert) so I could'nt tell for sure which one was the right one.

Great resto project. This is an awesome cab and game, can't wait for Eurocade to have a go at it.  :)

I still need to exchange the one on my SW bit if you want you can have the old one. Yeah it's got some holes that don't belong there, but it sure beats having a gaping hole like that ! :)

And it IS very nicely powder coated !
