link to the poll: https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=4052.0

Keep in mind: I ask what you guys do prefer to get some info to base my decision on (also). The results are not necessarily what is going to happen in the real world. (Just to make that clear, as there was some confusion on that with the last poll.)
Looking for a container. Doesn't matter if full or empty. Doesn't matter if working or complete ... And all things Exidy!

Yes, something like that! My guess is we would save money on van rent this way, plus it would be more fun  :)

Cheers, Marco

Group transport from / to Holland. How do you guys picture that?
A large truck to pick up and drop off all games for the Dutch people?
I live in the south-west of holland, so I will probably live furthest away from Bremerhaven.
Wanted: everything Universal , Stern and Gottlieb. Currently looking for Computer R3, Curve Ball, Goal to Go, Jungler, Fast Draw, Limbo, No Man's Land and Speed Coin.

Well, only by a few Kms from me  :D
I am also curious how a group transport would be done.
How many cabs besides Barry's 3 (is it still 3 or is it 4 already?) and my two, would we be talking about? And does anybody know somebody who is licensensed to operate a big truck?

But I might go by myself because I want to be there in person, it must be great seeing that container filled with cabs. And we can't all go with the truck, can we?  :)

I suppose that all participants got a message from Love mentioning the all-inclusive shipping costs per upright cabinet. And because I think that it is a good idea to have this publically available for future reference >>>>

Quote from: Love

............

A single shipping slot in the container is €180 per standard upright. All costs are included in this price (handling, customs etc). I of course cannot guarantee that there won't apply any additional costs and in case there are you will need to take care of them, but I dont expect there to be any.

The container will arrive in Bremerhaven most probably. Machines are not strapped to pallets but will be professionally wrapped and stuff. There is no storage going to be provided by me, therefore you need to pick up your games at the delivery place, date and time or make sure someone is doing that for you.

...........

Not bad at all, and as this equals about US$ 230, the maximum of US$ 240 -250 (including VAT) that Love mentioned earlier. Chapeau.  :)

By the way, Love, please inform us as soon as possible about the collection date, some of us will have to make arrangements at their work, if it is during a weekday.

Oh, and one question about the calculation, I take it that it is including the VAT. How did you calculate this in the overall same price per game, because the VAT of course depends on the value per machine? Or did you just divide the VAT over all games equally, which is fine by me?

No worries guys....your machines are stored totally safe, here is a picture of the whole lot:

In fact, to save shipping costs and make all sure all the cabs will fit in the container, we decided to compact them a bit before loading...
