I think I will take a gamble with it and see how it performs.  Its selling point to me is the 180 degree angle the cover opens through, specifically designed for scanning oversized images.

Well, I never got round to purchasing the scanner in the above post, but I did pick up This Baby on Ebay for 99p = delivery..  



Says all it needs is an adaptor, so fingers crossed.

Yes the 4670 is the only scanner that I came across that will sit flat on oversize items. I have tried a few, but happy that I found a 4670 to buy, I am sure you will agree once you try it out.
