Back from few days in London...

Better than the simple...far better than the double... here's the *triple* whopper burger  Tongue arrow

Ok...no jokes please  Grin

Let's go -once again- to the biggest Arcade in London  arrow

The FUNLAND is located in the Trocadero at Picadilly Circus / London.

And this time, I won't miss The game : AIRLINE PILOTS *deluxe* from SEGA  arrow

Here's a quick video I've done  arrow

I dunno why but I really like this game. So zen... so cool... I love it  Kiss Kiss Kiss

I already done many pictures of this Arcade in other post, so here's just few things...

This year, a second After Burner climax *deluxe*  arrow

Once was not enough Huh? Ok... it's now possible to play in link mode  Cool

The games are in very good condition ...

Some old school games inside these Jaleco cab'  arrow

New dancing game with movements detection... impressive !

Now it's clear... I won't find a Dragon's Lair or a Pac Man up & running here  Cry Cry Cry

But they are these beautiful games :

The new TEKKEN 6 :

A new Japanime shop, close to the entrance  arrow

...and a lot of goodies  Tongue  arrow

I cannot resist. I bought this T-shirt  Kiss

WHat that ? Is it a burned screen ?  Cheesy

The UK guys are really 'Space Invaders' addict... A true Pop-Icon  Smiley

There was also a very interesting game located in a shop called 'ZAVVA' (it was a VIRGIN MEGASTORE last year) :

A Galaxian by Namco  Kiss

YES NAMCO  Kiss Kiss Kiss

...but not a Japanese model, but a cab made in Italy under license :

I've checked on the back... but stickers or other identity sign...

Regarding the hardware, I would say it's a 48in1 pcb, but locked with only 9 games :

I hope some of our Italian members here will give us more details about F.LLI BERTOLINO  Huh? Tongue

Yes Bruno,

Fratelli Bertolino s.r.l. were the official italian distributor of Atari arcades in the 80's.

I remember Asteroids with Bertolino's logo in the marquee  Undecided

But is very strange to find a Galaxians Bertolino's cab in UK  shock

This is an old old old game flyers:

Hi Bruno,
Great pics and video. Did you buy the Airline Pilots game? I regret not buying one of those last year. Someone close to my house was selling one for about $900.

Thanks for the pics my friend !!!

Yes I love Airline Pilots too (and so does my son)!!! For those interested, there is one of them at the arcade in Scheveningen, Holland: http://www.funland.nl

I always play it when we're there. It's amazing how this cab makes you feel you're really moving with a very heavy airplane, while there is NO movement at all !  Must be the extra side monitors.

About the Galaxian: I WANT IT, I WANT IT !!! That's the COOLEST looking Galaxian ever !!! Someone HAS to scan this artwork, it's unique !!!!

I've already posted some pics on BYOAC of that same machine. Did you ask if they would sell it ??
I would immediatly kick out the 48in1 and put a real Galaxian board in there....

I would hate to have to play it with buttons though. My current Galaxian has the usual 2-way stick and it works great. I actualy remember being very annoyed by the two-button controls way back in the 80's when I found a machine that used that to play Galaxian. I remember thinking "What the f..k is this Huh?" Smiley

Still, I love that machine.....it's absolutely gorgeous !!!!

Coool... I'll contact them... and ask if they plan to sell it... who knows  Roll Eyes Cool

Regarding that beautiful Galaxian... because It's in a HUGE shop (I even guess it's the biggest 'ex-Virgin Megastore' in London  Shocked), there was only the shop assistants and of course... no person in charge at all  Embarrassed But I have an other way to contact them  Wink Wait & See then

Of course I played on it... and I agree with you ... playing Galaxian with only buttons was very ...hum... weird  Ghost
