Will work it out I hope, plans for a arcade loading/unloading elevator are here already in planning for a while.
Only need people ad location for unloading

lighter than the Hard Drivin' , damn, but that is possible to load whit two persons ;)

The wheat isn’t the problem but the size and the way we need to load it on the trailer
So the cap needs to be lifted totally normally its possible to lift a part of a cap and leaf a part on the trailer or floor,
and then its possible to load unload whit two persons

Yes, our famous "loading dock" ;)

I just watched one of Bruno's videos and I counted 28 video games and 6 pinball machines.....last year... (not including the wall machines)

We already have more video games promised right now but KEEP THEM COMING !!!!

We also know that there will also be a number of promised cabs that can't make it in the end for one or the other reason. Also.....we only have 2 pinballs now.

I'd like to talk about priorities a bit...

Eurocade is (and will be) an event MAINLY targeted at the Classic Arcade Videogames (1975-1989). SO, our first choice will alway be for machines in this category. The priority list is somewhat like this:

Classic Arcade Videogames (1975-1989)
Still space ? then add:
any other dedicated Arcade Videogames from other ages.
Still space ? then add:
Pinballs (any age)
Still space ? .......forget it, we won't have more space...

So, this means that if anyone promised a pinball but it turns out we can fill the room with Classic and non-classic video games, the pinballs are kindly rejected....
(It sounds odd to write this now already).

In the hall-way we have a very long cabinet on which wall-machines can be installed, but none have been offered yet. Also some home computer/home console stuff MAY be put there (space allowing, first come first serve).
Normally we wouldn't encourage home stuff for the simple reason that this is an ARCADE game thing. There are already plenty of homecomputer/console retro fairs throughout Europe already and we think we should keep focus to the "core values".

For the same reason, we decided not to have candy machines. There is no unity within the Eurocade crew about this though. Everyone is entitled to his opinion, but I feel that the majority of visitors of Eurocade are also member of this forum. If I look at this forum, candy machines play NO role or VERY minimal. If I remember last year's visitors, the ONE thing that bonded all visitors was the love for the classic arcade video games. That some people also love candy cabs, handhelds and for my part, collecting stamps, is all fine, but we all share that one love mentioned before....

If we had unlimited space, there would be no reasons for the priority list and we could have welcomed all kinds of machines but we can't. In all honesty, I am not all unhappy about the building being somewhat limited because trust me, the crew has it hands full with "just" those machines .....

For the handhelds a special mention: I know there are guys who love these, however for the same reasons mention above, the crew has decided to NOT have a hand-held section. We simply lack the space PLUS we fear that these tiny things can easily get "lost". Even though it's an event for registered people only, we cannot guard the building 100% of the time. We do not want these precious things to disappear...

Some may mention that there would be space in the bar area for the handhelds, however, the crew _is_ unanimous that the bar area should be kept free of games. We don't know what the weather will be this year and everyone loved to have an area to go to have a bit of a rest from all the game noises and visuals and be able to meet each other and have some nice chats face to face and have a drink and/or some food in a relaxed atmosphere...

Also, that area will be once again the "dining room" for the buffet...
Like last year, the game room will be shut down at exactly 18.00 hrs for about 45 minutes so we can all enjoy the buffet :)

SOooooo...that's it, a lot of text, and I'm sure some will not agree or would have preferred to see things differently, but this is like it is...

Blanka, I do hope you can bring the Vectrex for the hall-area !!!

Oh, one more thing: just like for small things: EVERYTHING you bring into the building will always remain at YOUR OWN RISK ! The Eurocade team, nor the marching-band who owns the building can be held responsible for any damage or missing of your personal belongings ! By ENTERING the building you agree to this !

Like last year, we will not admit people who are not registered to the building but we are not police officers/security guards and cannot guarantee that some person can slip through....

Last year there were ZERO problems, but use your common sense. Don't let cameras, phones, wallets and other valuable stuff "floating" around in the building....

Thanks for your patience guys !! Now, we can still handle MORE classic machines, get them on the list !  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Great initiative again Andre, last year was fabulous!

We from Nozomi would like to attend again ;)

Are the cabs I brought last year still welcome? :

Nintendo Red Tent
Tabletop Lunacade machine

We can also try our best to bring a twin Sega racer like Daytona or Scud Race

For now we have a single Scud Race, but untill that time we'll definitely have a twin racer.
We're very busy building our own Arcade in Zuid-Holland so untill that time we'll have some nice stuff we
can bring I hope. Let me know Andre and I'll spread the word on the forum and more people from our forum can attend!

Cheers,

Hasan

I prefer Turkish Pizza over Turkish Delight.....;)

Realistically, budget wise we will have to "copy-paste" the same food as last year (no I dont mean heating up the stack of left-overs ;);))

Butttttttttt if you have another suggestion I am all ears Hasan ! :):)

About the cabs: As always, the preference list applies. I think the machines can be fit in, but should true classics be offered and we run out of space we will have to see how we can solve that. note that Scud and especially Daytona are "modern" classics IMHO.

That could actually be quite cool, i could then bring my Daytona, and we could link it and play 4 vs!!!.... hehe
