The cabinet is at his new location and one of the sides got new art.

I like that Taito Station sign!   :spaceace:

Looking great!  Seems I've somehow wound up working on more of those Sanyo/Sharp monitors than any other type.  I "remove" the chassis the exact same way   :D

They sure look good when they're done though!

Shame on me, I just read this topic tonight for the first time. And why? Because I will post the CPO to Gyruss' brother tomorrow (which took much too long for me to do  ) and I wanted to know how the resto is going.

But very nice job, guys. I'v seen the cab in its pretty beaten up condition, and it looks completely different now.

About the 'troublesome' paintjob. what I did with my DK cab is that I rolled a very thin layer, then sanded it with very smooth wtaerproof sanding paper and rolled a second very thin layer of paint on it. I did however put the cab upright after each paintjob, so dust has less chance to get stuck. And the end result was a very smooth dustfree paintjob. I know, this 'advice' is a bit late.  again.

By the way, wo did the cap replacement job?

Hahaha, no problem at all, now that the cpo is on it's way the restoration will be finished before the weekend. Yesterday we installed the second piece of side art.. Looks great!

Because Etienne was kinda busy with the stickers and because he helped me a lot in the past year (thanks again mate), we decided to look for someone else to do the cap kit, and i got to say the guy did a great job.

I didn't know the game was that much fun, we held a little tournament yesterday with 3 other guys and everybody enjoyed the game very much.

What´s the point in that i often ask myself.... the people responsible for this should be KICKED! VANDALS!

Great outcome Pieter!, it really looks nice!!! - kicking myself for not jumping on the MBWB bulk deal..... :'(
