Hoped you used rubber gloves!!!  Once that crap is on your hands, it's there for life!!!!!!!!  you'll be peeling it off for like ever!!  lol ;)

Nope, but I've done it very carefully  8)

Dude, that room seems really huge with the wood panels on the walls!

These wood panels were a true nightmare to install, especially the ones on top of the walls! Their weight + size = nightmare to handle them !!! Especially when you work ...alone sometime! But thanks God, this step is behind us now!  :P

Cool, basically you only have to paint the walls and carpet on the floor and you are finished?

technically if you read about  v1 & v2,   bruno doesnt hurry up and takes more time to complete all the steps/ parameters & final touches,   but guess many people would dream (and himself ! ) of a christmas showtime  :P

Caincan is right... still a lot of things to do before bringing the cabinets, especially around the way between the V2 <-> V3 + the toilets...

Removing the small windows in the back of the V2 :

As I said, sill many things to do in order to 'link' the two rooms correctly!

I just made me a coffee and started on page 1 since I missed the start of your game room.

WOW

When V1 and V2 AND V3  are connected, this will be an awesome place!! I hope there will be a large party for the "opening" ;)

What impresses me most is that you do all the work on your own (with help from others)....you got my respect, sir!  :)

LARGE toilets, please. There's a reason they're called "rest room" in the states. You should be able to lay back and rest for a while.

Let's start to apply the glass fiber.

This time, I'll use this special glass fiber model... with no structure or special pattern...quite smooth, see

What is the glass fiber for? :)
It's strange to see how houses are built in other countries. In my shed I have the following order, outside to inside:
  • Wood cladding
  • Wind stopper (not sure what it is, some kind of paper)
  • Wooden beams with insulation in between
  • Moisture stopper (plastic)
  • Plasterboard

It's so funny, it seems like glassfiber "wallpaper" is only popular in Holland and Belgium and yet it is such great material.

Here are all the advantages:

I know it is forbidden to use in some countries (because of the micro small fibers = bad for lungs).
But it is correct: In Belgium it used a lot.

From what I have read is that the fibers from glassfiber wallpaper are too big to nestle in the lungs and are thus not dangerous.

This is the way homes are built in North America as well.

"Wind stopper" = air barrier.  Common brands are DuPont Tyvek or R-wrap.  Cheaper installations use tar paper.
"Moisture stopper" = vapor barrier.  This prevents cold air hitting hot air and converting to water in the wall.
