These wood panels were a true nightmare to install, especially the ones on top of the walls! Their weight + size = nightmare to handle them !!! Especially when you work ...alone sometime! But thanks God, this step is behind us now!

This is the way homes are built in North America as well.

"Wind stopper" = air barrier.  Common brands are DuPont Tyvek or R-wrap.  Cheaper installations use tar paper.
"Moisture stopper" = vapor barrier.  This prevents cold air hitting hot air and converting to water in the wall.
