Yup, I am always worried about the reflections....especialy now I'm building my gameroom.....hope it turns out OK.

Anyway, I was just very very lucky that a colleague at work said he had a couple of spare neons when I told him about my hobby etc. so I could get them for a very friendly price. Otherwise I would definitely have gotten those TL's too.

The Hornbach that is very close to my home also sells those complete tube lights (I think they're TL with sleeves) for about 15 Euro, which is WAY the best price I've seen on them so far. They even had black-light but last time I looked they were out of them....

By the way, I hope you fixed the water drainage pipe on your old lair, that wall doesn't look good on the outside.

Logan:
Yeah Hornbach is the place where I got most of the interior stuff for my Gameroom too (even the vinyl on the floor). It's the   biggest DIY store around, with the most stuff to choose from and best prices.  Just picked up the paint and glassfiber yesterday there....
Must say the Hornbach store is a little messier than our local Gamma (which is almost around the corner for me) but I don't care, it's the stuff that matters not the looks. Wouldn't have been able to get 100 meter rolls of wire from Gamma....

Yes, it's something to do, still in my 'to do list'
By the way, I hope the water pipe won't break or something... because the temperature is extremely low these last days during the night ( -15° C), and a part of the pipe is... outside, full of water now  :-\

Okay, I am gonna be lazy and ask, what is the size of the 'INSIDE' of both rooms ??

As you know I am going to be building a 'Games Room' and I'd like to get ideas on size as most of my games are in storage or still in the US and I'd like to make it big enough to fit them all and a Bar and lounge and pool table.

Thanks Bruno

No problem Dexter ;) The 'inside size' is approx : 7,10 meters per 3,70 meters for the 'V2/blue' room, and I would say all little bit less for the 'V1/orange'.

Here's few more picture, from the same area (the other parts of the room are not ready yet in term of lightening  ::)) than the previous pictures, in the 'Blue Room or V2', just to show you how great it looks when using indirect lightening with the neon (colored TL).

New pictures inside the V2... still looking for the best location for each game inside the rooms.

As you can see, the Pleiads just left the 'To restore area' for the 'games playable' area  ;D

Now, the Rolling Thunder is accessible for high score  ::) ;)  ;D

Just a FYI, Pool tables require a minimum playing area of 8' X 10'  for comfortable playing space, and they are a space hog!  I want to have a real arcade Air Hockey table, but

untill I can add more space, there is no room!  :?

Ok, so how it will look inside a game room ?  ::)

Let's fix it in a corner, and power on  8)

Nice effect  :-* It creates a solar system type effect  :)

The games are now ... in the middle of space, see

Awesome  :-*

What is the definition of Pleiads? Did 'ya say a lot of *stars* ? Like this?  ;)

This GALAXIAN effect reacts to the music and sounds... but because it's supposed to be installed in a small club or disco, the sound sensor cannot detect the 'too low'sounds from the games... but it's a very good think... because the standby mode display these cool 'solar system' effects, with a very slow and ultra smooth animation  :-*

Now playing inside the V2 is like... playing in the middle of the space  :o :P

If I put music at high volume level, this GALAXIAN creates some crazy patterns/animations  :)

More information about that great product right here.
