OK, now the job the day is to sand all the joint between the plaster boards. I know there will be a lot of dust, so let's close the access to the original lair

Remember, I've used plaster boards ONLY for the common wall between the two rooms. For the three other walls, I've used wood boards.

Some screws really bore me like this one 



I can't screw on further than that. OK, let's remove it, and make a bigger hole, like that :



Now I can push it   



Hopefully, I don't have to do that job for all the screws already fixed... but I did that for maybe 20 or  25 of them 

Anyway, it's completely done now. I just have to cover the screws + joints with this

Hi Alex,

Well, I've used plaster boards only on the common wall, because that 'internal' wall doesn't need to be insulate (insulation is already done by the external walls).
So, if that common wall doesn't need to be insulate, it doesn't need any structure (with wood + glass wool by example) ... and so it's more easy to fix plaster boards directly on a wall than OSB boards

im hoping bruno has built it so it won't leak or flood, cos if it does the osb boards are the least of his worries, its the collection of arcade machines id be worried about.

The slab that he poured is elavated.  I'd imagine he is going to put sleepers (scrap 2x4) on top of the slab and then put the underlayment down.  He also might be adjusting the height of the new space to match the old space.  I don't think flooding is much of an issue with everything I have seen in his construction.

Before working on the 'floor', I'll apply glass fiber on all the walls, like I did in the first lair.

No, it hides all the imperfection of the walls, also the joints. And after the painting, it'll look very nice. I've done the same job for the first room  Have a look right here
