Hey, it was neat to see your lair from the outside all the way around!  It looks tall, does it have a sub floor, or is the building on pier & beam?

Yeps Sonic, I agree my lair is tall... it has a 'partial subfloor', but it can't be used for games  :-\ I use that sub floor for ...garden tools  :D

Ok, I got the wire mesh :

... and a first load of blocks.

Argggg, I wasn't at home when the delivery man came... and he unloaded everything in the middle of my driveway

So we have to clear to way... and manually move item per item to the right place...

OK, let's place the wire mesh :

Done :

Hmm...by looking at the pics it seems like you are extending your lair in a way that it will end very very close to the border fence. Is that allowed  in Belgium ? Here in Italy every building has to be at least 5 meters from the border line between one's property and another.

Yes Matteo, I'm exactly on the border. Here in Belgium, you have two options :

- At least 4 meters from the border line between one's property and another (That what the previous owner did for the 'garage' (now the "Nuno's Lair"  ;))

- Exactly on the border (or few cm of course) : my option  :)

I don't need to cut the hedge of trees... the truck is doing the job  ;D

On location :

Let's go

Maybe this has been asked before but will the Galaxian3 Theater find any place in your upgraded arcade room? It seems the room will not be 'that' bigger in the end?

When the upgrade will be done, the entire size (Nuno's Lair V2  ;D) will be 8 meters x 7,5 meters  ;)

You're right, The Galaxian Theater will have a special *dedicated* room... in the Nuno's Lair V3... Target is 200X  8)

Super ton boulot Darthnuno !

Your're "x-ing" the last digit only in 200X, hence within 2 years you'll have the theatre up and running, impressive planning. Just kidding, Bruno, good luck with this effort.
current line up: 3 x New Astro City 2x Atomiswave SD, 3 x Aero (2 NOS) and Aero Table
Pac Man
Black Knight pinball
On the way: Daytona USA

Hello Stéphane, and welcome here  :) It's seems to be the same scenarii for most of us : First a generic cab with a mame setup... l8ter you find a dedicated cab ... then an other one... and an other one... and you've to setup a gaming room for all that stuff  :D

Feel free to ask anything if you need help for your restoration

I prefere you to speak english on that board if you don't mind  ;) Thanks  :-* (mais tu peux me retrouver sur le site de gamoover également et en francais dans le texte )

Isn't it a little cold to pour concrete Nuno? ;)

Yeps, it's a little bit too cold nowadays, but fortunately that works has been done few weeks ago  ;D

Yeps... I know 2 years will be very short to complete all these projects... But I guess it's possible  8) Many thanks for your nice words  :-*

Update  ;D

Under the current Nuno's Lair there is one of the four electrical circuits. I'll bring the circuit via this tube...

...to the v2, like this :

Now, THE truck...

...for the emblankment :

Opsss... The lorry driver didn't lay out the emblankment on all the surface  :-[
So we have to lay out everything manually  :?

Ops, it's late... we stop here :

Tomorrow, after working all the day at my job place... what a nice surprise when I arrive at my home  ::)

My father came during the day and he finished that part of the job :

 8) :P

Now, a small layer of sand...

...in order to protect this thick plastic film :

Now, let's place the 'wire mesh'

...some parts of it have to be cutted :

Ok, all the 'wire mesh' is in place ...

Let's fix all the part together

Done  ;D

It's a great day... Here's the starting point :

Too much concrete... my father is removing the excess of concrete

Now, he's smoothing it...

Lets wait few days... drying time  8) ;)
