My handhelds finally found a home!

After many years I finally was able to set up my display cabinet and put my collection of handhelds and tabletops in there. I guess I am happy now.

This display looks really cool. I presume it's mostly the games you had, played, or wanted to have back in the days ?

Now a general question for all HandHeld games collector : do you leave batteries inside all the games, in order to have them playable immediately if needed? I presume it's the case for the G&W ones, because the nature of the battery, but what about the others games?

:D ;D  always great to see such displays...due to that it's a professional display !  (not ikea cheap style..),   but there are uncommon these attempts of displays among tabletop etcc collectors  :-[

i never leave batteries in them. (even more because i cant display them and they sleep in packages in garage  :'(). but solar powered ones have the life by themselves to provide little fun in a display

As a kid I only had a Game&Watch ("Chef"), which luckily I still have. When I started collecting video games years ago I decided to also collect Game & Watches and maybe the occasional other handheld if it is in some way interesting or unique. So I came across a few which I sold again, which I regret today. But you can't have everything, I guess...

Batteries: I don't leave batteries in any of my games simply because I very rarely play anything. They would always be empty... I keep some around and put them in if needed.

I saw a very nice display for my handhelds at Piet Hein Eek, but for the money, I could double my collection.

6500 €

Very nice. Those display cabinets are pretty expensive....
