Crowns Golf
« on: June 19, 2010, 04:06:34 PM »
Hi to all.

Coming back from this trip: https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=1404.0, I catch an Atari Crowns Golf ( and other things to take away...).
I try to find infos on the game, but find only for a Sega version...
The cabinet look like a Dragon's Lair/Space Ace type.
Having time, I'm thinking to restore/re/convert the cab for a DL/SA.
I find on both side water damaged, around the monitor and on bottom of the cab.
Any help on how proceded to restore this cab (expecially for how to treat the damage done by water) will be valued  ;)

Follow my 'Space Ace - the restoration' topic step by step, right here.

You'll find all the steps in order to repair your cabinet. As you will see, my Space Ace cabinet was worst than your cabinet, and at the end, it looks brand new  :-*

Good luck on this project  :)

So what happened to this Crowns Golf? From what you wrote in this and this other post the DL, SA and this cabinet you found in that warehouse should be in salvageable conditions. How is the restoration going?
