Powerdrift monitor ! - Sanwa 26"

Hey,

still trying to track down the elusive manual, but had a quick look today, lots of burnt places underneath and previous repairs, but......
so i look for the obvious.  AC in = 110v, checking the DC output of the bridge rectifier i get 65vdc, this doesnt look right to me ?


i dont really know a great deal about monitors, so excuse the silly questions, and of course i dont have a schematic which dont help !

110V is on the high side. Check if it's set up for 220 or 240VAC. If it's set to 220, change it to 240VAC.
Depend on machine how to set this.

But, getting 65VDC out of the diode bridge is way too low, should be something like 150 I suppose. It's always more in DC then what goes in AC. Could be defective bridge but the DC can also be drawn low by shorts are failing components further in the circuit.

ok, a diode that had been moved to the underside of the pcb as there was a hole burnt was not attached properly.  I have scraped some track, and resoldered.  hoooray the monitor now works, but unfortunately the game dont
it doesnt coin / play / display anything......  next job .
