It's not my all times favourite but this particular song immediately brings me back into that very moment in the eighties: One of our teachers was sick and I had 2 hours to kill, a friend offered me to stay at his place while he went to attend his class (we were in different section). Coming from a village we had little access to "hype" music and this happened during my first months in the big town school. So I stayed at his place (well: his mother's place) by myself, played Karateka and Ninja on his C64 (yes I was really into Ninjas, don't laugh) and that song was played twice on his "cool town radio station". I felt like a grown up, being there doing my favourite things while others poor fools where at school. I was the king of the world (even though I didn't finish karateka just then).

(hey check the name of that band, now if it isn't predestination!)
I feel something similar with West End Girls from the Pet Shop Boys: my first Tuna Sandwich in a snack (I was more used to bring my own sandwiches from home).
It made me feel like a NY trader with very little time on his hands to prepare his own meal.
Little did I know that it would become my main lunch/snack for many years to come!
Gosh why did you make me write all these confessions?
