I really doubt it's an original. It looks like a german generic cab. They were called 'Big Screen' from 'Nova Apparate'...I'll try to find some pictures.

for example: http://wiki.arcadezentrum.com/doku.php?id=universal_nova_big_screen

But there were a few other designs.

Google search

You mean the one in the AZ wiki....I know ;)

Meanwhile I think there was a dedicated machine with that shape, but I'm sure it wasn't a Galaga

The joystick and buttons layout on the 'galaga' are exactly the same as the pic above....so it must be....theyre even the same buttons!

In Germany it's a very common cab, you can always get them for around 100 to 200 Euros. It has a rotateable 25" screen (Hantarex MTC 9110), imo a little too big for the old games. There are two models, a standup and a sitdown version, the only difference is the height.

I'm not sure if it is really a Big Screen. Big Screens have a drawer for the power supply and the PCB. You can see that the drawer is separated from the sides. The 'Galaga' seems to be in once piece.

somehow they modded the wood on the sides. you can clearly see a cut in the sides.
this is not a dedicated machine.. but a pretty well done mod.
Looking for Dragons Lair 1 or 2, Space Ace, Double Dragon, Robotron and yeah... a Shinobi would be cool, too!

...I'd like to know something about this cab... It's tag from Pauls like Universal..

It's looks like the shape of Zaccaria "mini" (the one with flat marquee...I say common in Germany and Europe but not in Italy, like the curved marquee and "full size")... the glass is Zaccaria stars...and probably if  it's fit, I think have the same measure of the rest.

...I remeber somewhere a similar cab was called "the fake Zaccaria"...

... Side art are not so bad, anyway...

---EDIT---

Now I remeber:  "FAKE ZACC" (by Etienne) here: http://www.zzzaccaria.com/SuperCobraRestoration.htm
