EuroCade -The round trip...
« on: September 09, 2011, 09:51:03 PM »
A lot have been said about EuroCade, but to keep it short, here´s my little story.
Not so many pictures, but a few that havent been shown before..

My round trip graphic vise:

First arcade chat was to the "nice" guys at Gatwick Airport Security..

Got to Copenhagen, took the train to Nyborg, where my dad picked me up.

Friday; cabs loaded, Missile Command and Ice Cold Beer, and a secret one which was PlayChoice 10.

Shopped for the trip:

Left Kerteminde at 2030 Friday evening, and the farmers was busy getting their crops harvested before it started raining again..

On my way through Germany, this is the official station to listen to!!  ;D ;D

Saturday
Arraived in Ridderkirk at 0330, and "slept" till 0730 in the car, around 0800 Etienne arrived at the crime scene, and we had a little chad before André arrived (20 mins to late)
Unloaded the cabs, and there must have been dirty, coz here´s a rare sight, a Ckong vacuuming..  :D :D

Bruno and Belike putting up the banner..

The Dré having a go on the Ice Cold Beer, hope it didn't disappoint you..  :)

Loaded the games around 2300, and after saying goodbye, i planned to drive 3-400 km before getting some rest, but Red Bull aparently gives you other than just wings , so i arrived in Kerteminde at 0600 Sunday morning... unloaded the cabs, and took the final pic.

Was back in England on Monday at 2100 local time
To sum up; Thanks to all for making this trip worth the "pain" - no one mentioned - no one forgotten....

Collecting oldsch00l arcade games is great, but this community takes it to another level  :spaceace:

Your roadtrip must have been painful as well! 1400+ km each way!!! wow!
Luckily mine was split up over 5 days!
And, i´m glad that you like the ICB, and to answer your question André - if you like something, and it don´t take up to much space you got to at least have 2 of them  ;) ;D

... here´s what i payed for mine:
The first one i bought came from pauls50s, and cost 425€
The 2nd one i bought from a seller in Bremen and it was a buy it now for 229€
Both of the games needed new rubber bands for the motors, and the one from paul needed a special micro switch to tell the game that the metal rod cant go no further.
