How much for a pacman pcb?
« on: August 24, 2011, 08:25:02 PM »
Playing with the idea of restoring pacman. Mine has a Xin1 chinese-pac-board in it when I bought it. And although the cab hasn't been fired up in a while and I've lost the key to the back panel, I'm pretty sure it's still there  :D

Not sure yet about how far I'll take the restauration (stickers or paint ) but one thing is for sure, the multigame board has gotta go.

So .... how much would an original pacman board set me back?

And come to think of it .... how much for an original Ms pacman, mighty tempting to put both games in there.
current line up: 3 x New Astro City 2x Atomiswave SD, 3 x Aero (2 NOS) and Aero Table
Pac Man
Black Knight pinball
On the way: Daytona USA

somewhere around € 100, including shipping from the US.

I bought both PCB's separately from each other a few years ago via US ebay, and I paid just under  € 100 for each, shipped from the USA.

No need to get 2 boards if you want Pac/Ms.Pac

Ms.Pac is nothing more than a hack of Pac. They both run on the same main PCB. The only extra is an external board for Ms.Pac, but you can buy kits that fit on a Pac PCB to play both games (plus many more sometimes).

I've got a couple of bootleg boards for sale by the way ;)
